UNFORGETTABLE.....that's what it was

What was it about Brighton's iconic Soul Club's of the 70s and early 80s that causes everyone who frequented them to sigh at the memory of an unforgettable era?

An era that was accompanied by an unforgettable soundtrack of Soul, Jazz and Funk the likes of which could never be replicated. It helped that the clubs concerned were steeped with atmosphere, The Inn Place, The Abinger and most especially Le Papillon.

There's no substitute for the real thing but on Friday August 7th at The Ocean Rooms in Brighton those sounds were recreated once again in the company of many of the old patrons and others who just went to see for themselves what it must have been like. On October 23rd we're back for more of the same with Guest DJ, Sean French, one of the leading lights on the Jazz-Funk scene of yesteryear and on Saturday December 12th we've got a real scoop with the appearance of the legendary CHRIS HILL. That will be down at The Babylon Lounge and ticket details and info will be on here very soon.

But that ain't all!! We are currently in the process of arranging a regular session in the Brighton & Hove area at a brand new venue. So new...it's not yet open....but it's nice, very nice. Watch this space.
